Antique Baby Sweater
This belonged to my great-grandmother and was passed to my grandmother. It would have been made between 1917 and 1920 depending on how old she was when she wore it. It may have been her christening sweater as only a few items were saved. Unless it was a hand-me-down of my great grandmother's from the late 1880's or her older sister around 1910. I assume since it was given to my grandmother that it was hers as a baby even if also worn by her sister or mother.

This item has been stored for almost 100 years.
There is some yellowing or spotting. See cuff and front hemline. One piece of thread yellowing near back of arm. Knit pull under one arm and loose knit in the back at one of the scalloped edges.
