Antique Effanbee Sweetie Pie with Chair.
I don’t know much about this doll, found sitting in my mother’s house after her passing. Guessing it is from the 1930’s.
Doll was played with long ago, and does show its age. There are some cracks in the composite and a significant tear under the left arm. Clothes are faded. There were some extra clothes that will be included if found.
The doll sits in a wooden chair of unknown origin. I don’t know if this was manufactured for the doll, made for a different doll, or if it was hand-made by my mother’s parents for her doll. My mother had the chair reupholstered sometime in the 1980’s out of love for her little doll.
I will be happy to answer question as best I can, but my knowledge of this item is limited.
