Very good condition. No problems. Looks amazing for a 1948 wool hat. The wool hat was created by Ben Molin and Joe Rosenbaum. The propeller beanie cap was designed to twirl when a child runs. These became symbolic of science fiction fandom, and were later popularized by Beanie-Boy from the Beany and Cecil cartoons. Cap is made of 60% reused wool and 40% reused unknown fibers. The propellers are labeled “atomic whirler”. See photos.
