I was able to purchase a precious collection of wonderful antique baby, small child's size Civil War, Victorian & Edwardian era children's clothing articles. I have just begun offering the collection. In this auction, I am offering a rare and precious pair of DAN FORTH U.S.A. re: Dan 4th soft kidskin leather gloves, unisex. Company bio states production started C. 1901-1919, Co. created gloves for Rodeos, work, and dress, a time long gone when children were introduced to working and doing chores at the age of 3. Gloves measure 5" long x 2" wide, they are unlined and the snaps are in miraculous clean and working order. They are tiny and for a little hand, in "guessing" but I would say about 2-3 years old. The kidskin leather is still very soft, they were packed away and cared for, no doubt someones heirloom. The color reminds me of a camel color. Some of the stitch work is by hand. Don't let these little gems pass you by. My starting bid is VERY LOW and there is NO RESERVE. USPS
