Vintage Clothing - Choice!
Nice group of vintage children's clothing, all from the 1940s or early 1950s. Please notice the
SAVINGS
on multiple items!
First, a child’s coat and hat - I believe it is wool. The label says 1 to 6X Shop and Aldens. It looks like about a size 2 or 3.
Second, a
snowsuit and hat set. Label says “Honeysuckle” and “Sears, Roebuck & Co.” The snaps say Klikit and the zipper Conmar. It looks like a size 12 months to me, but I can find no size label.
Third, 2 nylon boys shirts.
The first shirt has a label that says “100% DuPont Nylon” and “No Ironing Necessary” and is a size 6. The label is missing from the second shirt, but it is very similar. Both shirts are semi-transparent.
Next, a
light child’s sweater. I believe the label says “Atlanta” and the snaps appear to say “Grippers” but both are hard to read. Looks like a size 2 or 3.
Fifth, a baby or infant dress.
The label says Ting-a-Ling Togs and 12 Mos. This is a beautiful white dress with pink ribbon. Looks new.
Next, a pair of
shoes, about 4 ¼” long. Box says Honeysuckle / 5839 White Blu 1. Shoes appear unused - new old stock.
Seventh, a
cute sweater with flowers and balls on the end of the tie strings. Label says N.Y. Mose Co. / All Wool / Hand Made in / Occupied Japan. Probably about a size 12 Mos.
Next, a
child’s undershirt. Label says E-Z and Size 5 / 2 Yrs / WGT 27-28 Lbs
Ninth, a couple of
pairs of child’s shorts. There is no label and they look handmade to me. About a size 3 or 4.
Next, a
boys shirt. Label says Boyville Jr. and a 5 for size although it looks a bit small to me.
Next,
5 Pair of vintage baby booties. Four appear to be knit or crochet; the bottom left is cloth with embroidery. (What may appear to be holes in the blue ones are just shadows!)
Twelfth, a pair of tiny bibs.
The first bib is just cloth; the second is knit or crochet. The left one (cloth) is less than 8” in diameter; the right (knit) one is less than 7”.
Finally, a
nice pair of baby shoes. The surface is like fuzzy cloth. They appear to be unused and measure almost 4 ½”.
I am not very knowledgeable about vintage clothing, so please look at photos carefully and ask if you have questions. Each looks to be in quite good condition but
