It is very rare to find a child's cloche hat. This came from a wealthy family who spared no expense outfitting their children in the 1920s.
The cloche is in excellent condition with just a tiny bit of shredding on the inside seam where the silk meets the seisal. There are no stains or rips. Even the original paper price tag is still attached to the inside of the brim of the hat. The label is clearly marked "Cinderella Hats, New York". There is a big, fluffy, bright and cheery feather attached to the front of the hat just above the brim. The back has a bow which hits the nape of the neck. There is a button and embroidery depicting a sun and rays beneath the feather. This is a great find for the family that likes to dress period vintage.
The circumference of the hat inside at the top is 16", and then it narrows towards the crown. Hat rises from brim to crown top 5".
