Vintage Casual Heir by Elegant Heir Boys Blue Suit Sport Coat Jacket Size 10

Description

This is a wonderful sport jacket for your 8-11 year old.  It dates from the mid 1970’s.  Very well tailored by Elegant Hier, vintage tailors of top of the line upscale children’s clothing.  It is from their Casual Hier line.  It features two metallic bronze buttons for front closure, and two similar smaller buttons on each sleeve.  There are two side pockets and a breast pocket, just like what big people wear 😀.
Made of durable texturized Dacron polyester, it is machine washable.
This piece is in very good condition given its 40 years.  There is a stain on the lining inside the side right pocket.  And there are a couple of pin holes on the breast pocket where lapel pins were used.  The holes are not open but if you look carefully you can see were the lapel pin came in and out. (Please see the last two pictures for more detail on these two issues.  The colors may be slightly different in order to capture the detail.). Other than that, there are no other rips, tears, stains, snags, odors, repairs, or blemishes, and it has always been in a chemical, fragrance, smoke, and pet-free environment.
It is tagged as size 10, but sizing has changed so much over the years, so please check your child’s measurements against those below to assure a proper fit.
