Vintage Patsy Ruth 27” Composition Doll 1930s Rare Big Doll. Condition is “Used”. Shipped with USPS priority mail .00. From a non-smoking home. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES.

• Doll is marked on the back of her head - Effanbee Patsy Ruth
• Doll has various crazing/cracks/marks/wear/places where the paint has come off or rubbed off
• Eyes are discolored and crystallized
• I do believe the wig to be original
• Her face/head, legs/feet and some other places throughout are yellow, looks like some sort of sealant or something painted on
• Her lips may have been repainted
• Her legs are a bit loosely strung
• Don’t know anything about the outfit, whether it is original or not
• The dress has some stains/discoloring
• Some if not all of the button clasp pieces on the dress appear to have been re-sewn
• There a smaller place where the skirt of the dress has become detached from the top part of the dress, creating a hole in between the two
• Overall the dress appears to be in pretty good shape
• The underwear appear to be in pretty good shape as well
• The shoes have some wear and one shoe appears to be darker than the other, but other than the color difference they look identical
• One of the shoes has what appears to be a number written with what appears to be pencil
• The socks appear to be in pretty good shape, other than a hole snag thing on one of them and some discoloring on the same sock
*  The vast majority of the items have been in my home for many years, some up to 30. Some were purchases along the way, and on eBay in the last 10 years or so.
*  I am sorry that I am not able to describe these items in better detail, my grandmother knew this stuff backward and forwards but unfortunately she is no longer with us.
*  Nothing I have is a museum piece, these were just collected through the years from all over the place, mostly doll shows and doll shops in Texas.
*  Most of these items are from a collection that spanned 50 years, many of these dolls may have been touched up, repainted, repaired, etc.  Some I can tell and some I just don't know.
*  I am no expert on the
originality
of clothes, hair, accessories etc. Please looks at the pictures and go from there.
*  Items are from a non-smoking home.
* I will combine shipping in most cases (as long as the auctions end in the same few days), just wait for the auctions to end and contact me.
* I have sold stuff on and off for over 20 years on eBay, under this same name.  If there is a problem please contact me and I will try to work it out. This is not something I am doing just to make a quick buck.
*  Shipping can be expensive, please keep in mind that the actual cost paid to the post office is not the true cost, eBay includes that amount when I am charged fees which is around 13%, If you win an auction and you get your item and you feel your were unfairly charged then contact me about a refund. I loose money on shipping at times, it just comes with the territory.
